Sally Anderson joined Hall Strategies in October 2011 and will assist the firm's public relations clients.

Anderson previously was an associate in strategic communications for global consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as senior editor for a magazine published by the United States Africa Command. Prior to joining Booz Allen in 2010, she served as a visiting professor in the University of South Florida’s Department of Government and International Affairs.

Anderson began her public affairs career in 2001 in Washington, D.C., at DCI Group. She managed press relations and coalition building for a variety of grassroots lobbying campaigns impacting state, national and international policy. In the Washington area, she also worked with Odell Simms and Associates assisting foreign economic development agencies in identifying North American investment opportunities. She worked with Akins Crisp Public Relations Strategies in Tennessee in 2004.

A native Nashvillian, Anderson received a doctorate of philosophy degree in political science from Florida State University and a bachelor of arts degree from Belmont University in 1999.
